Company History

Our company founder Pat Nocerino was a pioneer in the fine art printing industry and among the first people in the country to experiment with producing limited edition prints on an Iris Printer. Over the years Nocerino helped develop the full potential of the Giclée printmaking process and established many of the industry’s best practices.

After just a short time in business Nocerino had more work than he alone could produce and he hired the company’s first employee Mike Teal. Teal’s background as a professional photographer and pre-press technician provided the perfect skill-set to help Nocerino grow the business. The two quickly developed a reputation for accurate color reproduction and an attention to detail unmatched in the Rocky Mountain region. Today Mike Teal serves as the firm’s production manager and technical guru.

At the beginning of 2015, nineteen years after founding the company Nocerino was ready for retirement and began looking for a qualified buyer to take over operation of the company. After meeting local printing industry executive Mike Abell, Nocerino quickly realized he’d found the perfect person to carry on the tradition of excellence. Abell has a unique combination of business and artistic skills and a passion for working behind the scenes to help Rocky Mountain regional and Denver area artists bring ideas to life and put their best foot forward.

Under Abell’s leadership the company moved from Centennial into our current studio in Central Denver which has allowed for expanded service and product offerings. Abell has assembled a diverse team of artists and technicians who bring years of experience and creativity to every project we touch.
