Giclée Printmaking Options

Giclée Printmaking Options – Substrate

Canvas

Canvas prints look more like paintings, but preserve the rich colors, tonal depth and fine detail of a traditional photograph.

Fine Art Paper

Also called watercolor paper or rag, we offer several archival, 100% cotton, acid-free options from Hahnemühle and other premier fine art paper manufacturers with varying degrees of texture. A great option if you want an archival medium and want to see the fine detail in your photo or art.

Premium Archival Matte Paper

A smooth neutral-white, acid-free matte paper with an instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging that’s ideal for high-quality fine art and photo reproduction. As a less expensive option, Archival Matte paper is a great solution for the budget-concious artist who is unwilling to sacrifice quality.

Luster Photo Paper

Prints on Luster photo paper look similar to the small ones that you receive from your standard photo lab. The prints show rich, saturated colors, deep blacks, and great detail.

Giclée Printmaking Options – Finishing

At Nocerino Editions, we can mount your print on 1/4″ or 1/2″ black or white MightyCore or ArtCare foam backing boards using only archival-quality acid-free mounting materials.

Giclée Printmaking Options – Gallery Wrap

Gallery wrapped canvas prints offer a stylish, low-cost alternative to traditional framing. A gallery wrapped canvas giclée is a canvas print that has been stretched over stretcher bars so that the sides will either be a continuation of the image or a solid color. Before printing, extra image data for the gallery-wrap border is generated by copying and mirroring, thereby preserving the exact original composition. The craftsmen at Nocerino Editions then build a custom stretcher frame from kiln-dried, custom-milled, basswood and stretch the canvas to create the gallery-wrap.
